Stephen Ministers provide high-quality, confidential, one-to-one Christian care to people experiencing a variety of life’s challenges – grief, divorce, cancer, financial difficulties, hospitalization, chronic illness, job loss, disabilities, loneliness, a spiritual crisis, or other life struggles. In addition to caring for members of our congregation, Stephen Ministers also provide care to nonmembers, reaching out to people in our community facing difficulties in their lives.
Do you, or is someone you know, in need of a Stephen Minister?
It’s easy to be matched with a Stephen Minister. Each request will be kept strictly confidential, as will all communication with your Stephen Minister. The person requesting a Stephen Minister’s care for himself or herself can call the church office at 561-746-5161 for more information.
How to Become a Stephen Minister
Are you a person who enjoys listening, encouraging, praying with, and walking alongside a person who’s going through difficult times? If so, Stephen Ministry may be for you. Stephen Ministers receive 50 hours of training in care-giving before they are commissioned and matched with care-receivers.
