Would you like to join our Prayer Challenge?
Join us for the 40-Day Prayer Challenge that kicks off on Ash Wednesday. It will continue for the rest of the Lent. We will use the “Draw the Circle: 40-Day Prayer Challenge” by Mark Batterson. See what God can do in your life when you spend each day in His presence! Keep Calm and Pray On!
Do you want to study the Bible?
Continuous study of the Bible and books on Christianity are an important part of life at First Presbyterian. Several opportunities are offered each year for education, led by our pastor or church members and enriched by the idea-sharing and interaction of those attending. Come join the discussions!
Presbyterian Women’s Deborah Circle
The Presbyterian Women’s Deborah Circle is for women in our church who are seeking a deeper relationship with Christ and one another. Meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month in the Harrington Parlor. To learn more about this group please contact the church office at 561-746-5161. All are welcome!
Vacation Bible School 2023 June 19-22
Registration begins April 10th.
Join us for a fun and faith-filled week June 19 -22. Children ages 3 and older will learn about how God moves in our lives through music, drama, crafts, and fun! Interested volunteers please contact the office of Family Ministries or email Crystal Botha at crystal@teqeuestapres.org. VBS runs Monday – Thursday 9am until noon.
Trunk or Treat
Every year we sponsor a Community Food Drive to benefit the children at the Real Life Children’s Ranch in Okeechobee, which provides a loving Christian home to children who have been neglected or abused. This is a free, family-fun event. Family favorites include a hayride, costume contest and prizes for the best decorated cars! Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume and come and trick or treat all the trunks!
Blessing of the Animals
We enjoyed a special afternoon with our furry friends and family at the Blessing of the Animals. Pastor Kathy, our animal-loving pastor, offered a special blessing for those who attended.
